| Love Your Body
Studies report that 80% of women will be dissatisfied with their reflection, and more than half may see a distorted image. (Social Issues Research Center, Kate Fox, 1997) As you read in this week's lesson, the way you feel about your body will directly affect your health and weight release success. As outlined in the habits section, list some reasons why you love your body.

| I find that my focus has changed since starting this program:I now love my body because it allows me to enjoy the active and healthy lifestyle that I wrote about in my vision statement. It is a much more wholistic perspective than loving my body because of the way I look of feel based on my weight.
I love my body because it takes me where I want to go!

| I love my body because I am tall. I love my neck, I love my waist, I love my fingers, I love my lips, I love my eyes, I love the strength in my arms and legs, I love the power I feel when I run. I love that I can get up every morning and and full use of my arms, legs, eyes, hands, sense of smell, sense of hearing, sense of taste. I love how my body has taken care of me to date, how its so forgiving, how its allowed me to bear my son. I love how my body is so intricate. My body gives me energy, it warns me when it needs to rest. Its so clever. I love that my body is God's temple!!

| Cathy, this weeks lesson is amazing. You've done a great job in addressing an important issue, loving yourself as God created you. I love my body because God created me and all people perfect. I like that I'm a good height and all my body parts are proportional. | |||

| I have discovered that it's important not to focus so much on how much I could lose in 12 weeks but understanding that this program has afforded me the opportunity to start living healthy for the rest of my life. I feel so much healthier now and actually feel lighter than the scale reads - I've now lost 12lbs. Although people don't seem to realize it much it feels as if I've lost at least 20 lbs.
My main challenge at this point is to continually reshape my mind and thought process so that I see myself and my life through God's eyes. Overall it's been a rewarding process because it affects all areas of your life. Before this program I could never really assess how being healthy really impacted my life but now I can appreciate my health even more and I thank God for it.
