My goal in the next few months is to lose another 25 lbs, not only to look and feel better but to alleviate the arthritic pain in my knees and ankles. At that point I plan to update my fitness training to get back to teaching fitness classes and doing personal training. I am taking yoga, Pilates, NIA, BOSU and spinning classes in addition to my favourite lo-impact, to broaden my fitness horizons. Once I'm at my goal weight, I may also become a leader for Weight Watchers.

My vision

Each day is filled with conscious eating choices, energy, physical activity and a passion to improve the quality of people's lives

Sheila 29.09.2007 - 10:12 004
My Vision: To live my life with healthy habits which will result in a strong, active, fit body.

Tracey M 30.09.2007 - 21:03 005
My body is a priceless gift bestowed upon me by God. My ability to consistently take care of my body with sleep, diet and exercise is an expression of love, worship and praise is a source of constant joy and peace.

Rim M 02.10.2007 - 11:44 006
Ok so here's my vision: It's will probably change over time, but the core idea is here...

I want to live every day with the strength, power, and confidence to make me happy and calm throughout the day. I want to start doing things for myself. I want to reconnect and strengthen my existing relationships and establish other relationships so that they bring me joy and I would like to bring joy back to them. I would like to eat food without using scales or reading labels and I’d like to exercise for the sheer enjoyment of it. I want to experience the world outside and all it has to offer and connect more with nature and it's peace and beauty.

Cathy M. 02.10.2007 - 18:52 007
Great start Rim. I suggest restating your vision in the present and positive- 'I want 'indicates that you currently lack it- remember that you are lacking nothing. You have renewed your commitment to start doing the steps to have what's already in you. ( I hope this makes sense) Try writing it like this--I live ... I experience.., I do... I would also try to condense it in a sentence or two so that you can memorize it and use it to inspire you each day.

Rim M 03.10.2007 - 23:13 008
I understand -- that's harder -- I'm still working on it...personally, I'm not sure that this vision thing works that well for me, I'm more of a mantra guy...but I'll come up with something...

Rim M 07.10.2007 - 11:20 009
Ok Cathy -- i thought long and hard on this one...I've got a vision that's going to make a lot of sense to me (it might not to others...Here it is:

My spirit and body are my gifts. Keeping my spirt and body healthy will allow me to achieve anything i choose in life. Go.

Hi Talented People

I want to congratulate you on your fine work of outlining a vision for yourselves. You have clearly determined a path to pursue that is going to bring results and improve the quality of your lives.

Logging or journaling your progress is very helpful as you advance toward fulfilling your vision. There is very little that you cannot achieve with a disciplined course of action toward a vision that inspires you and keeps you on track.

Have a great day

My Vision

I enjoy my body's ability to energetically live a life of purpose.I am grateful that I was created to dance, worship and express myself through my body. I am thankful that my body remains flexible and that it tells me what it needs to be well.

Nancy B 23.11.2007 - 15:22 012
At this point I just want to make it through the next 11 weeks one day a time. I will focus only on today and making healthy choices for myself. I want to loose 50 pounds!!!

Cathy M. 25.11.2007 - 07:48 013
Great start Nancy-- not lets make this vision something that you can refer to for the rest of your life

you mentioned 'focusing only on today', making healthy choices and weight release.
Try something like this.( remember to state it in the present and keep it positive)

'My conscious living and healthy food choices inspire me to live at my healthy weight each day !!' If you what I've written then just copy it, otherwise keep revising it to something that will inspire you each day.

My body is strong. My energy is high. Healthy food fuels my life. I am active and I am fabulous.

Annette P 28.11.2007 - 15:33 015
Amuna I really like your vision, short and sweet, i think mine is a bit long...regardless here it is...

I love my life and my body. I allow myself and others the room to be and to become. I make healthy discions which give me more energy for the day. I have balance in every area, and the grace and patience with myself to continue to live as i have been called.

Kathy G 07.01.2008 - 23:25 016
