Congratulations again on the last 12 weeks. As I reflect on the process I see that its the small changes that I have made that are making a difference in my health.

I plan on 'staying in the game' by
- taking the time when eating- chewing slowly
- doing a cleanse at least 2x per year
- continuing to find creative ways of staying active everyday
- reviewing my vision regularly

How do you plan to 'stay in the game'?

I do plan on 'staying in the game' Too! For I heard it said if at first you don't succeed try and try again.

I think the main focus for me is not to be stupid.

That may seem asinine but here's an example of what I mean: I will always make a nutritious meal for my kids. But sometimes while they're eating whole grains, fruits and homemade goodies with organic milk, my husband and I will be chowing on a whopper. It's not like I don't know it's terrible for me and obviously I had time to make my children a meal so what gives? Sure a burger's more fun than a salad, but there is a happy medium. (And those new PC whole grain skinny buns are fantastic!)

The other thing for me, which I've been trying to do over the past 12 weeks, is to stop looking at excersize as a chore. The benefits really do outweigh the anguish. For me that point was proven last week when I was visiting my cousin in PEI. I woke up one morning and I was actually in the process of talking myself out of going running when I begrudgingly pulled on my sneakers and went. It was the most spectacular morning. I ran along the boardwalk with the lighthouse at my back and the water reflecting the Charlottetown skyline ahead. The clouds were perfectly defined puffs on a clear cerulean sky. There were herons playing in the spray and people were out walking their dogs and I was overwhelmed with a feeling of pure happiness and I realised that I would have missed all this if I hadn't dragged my butt out that door.

So thanks Cathy for your support and encouragement and for being that voice in my head. You know, the one next to my mother telling me to eat my greens...

:)
